Zeeshan Siddique Joins Ajit Pawar's NCP, Set to Contest Maharashtra Elections from Bandra East

Zeeshan Siddique, son of the late NCP leader Baba Siddique, has joined Ajit Pawar's faction of the Nationalist Congress Party (NCP) after being expelled from the Congress. He will contest the upcoming Maharashtra Assembly elections from the Bandra East constituency. Siddique will face off against Varun Sardesai, the nephew of Uddhav Thackeray, in what is expected to be a high-stakes battle. The elections are scheduled for November 20, 2024. This move comes after Siddique was denied a ticket by Congress, prompting his switch to NCP.
