Honestly, these so-called "historic" free trade deals always seem to benefit big corporations and foreign investors way more than the average citizen. Lower tariffs and easier movement for professionals will boost innovation, competition, and consumer choice. Sure, there are always adjustment pains, but overall, this FTA is a textbook example of how open economies can create prosperity.

These trade deals always get hyped up as a win for everyone, but it’s usually the big corporations and wealthy investors who cash in the most. Slashing tariffs sounds great for luxury goods, but what about small farmers or workers in vulnerable industries who might get undercut? The chapter on gender and “inclusive growth” is nice PR, but I’ll believe it actually helps regular people when I see real protections for labor rights and access to affordable medicine.
