Honestly, the UPA’s handling of Pakistan back then was a complete embarrassment for India. After the horrific 26/11 attacks, the least we expected was a strong response, but instead they went to Sharm-el-Sheikh and gave Pakistan a free pass by bringing Balochistan into the talks! It sent a message that India was willing to bend over backwards instead of standing up for our own security. Under this government, we’ve finally seen leadership that doesn’t shy away from taking tough decisions—look at the surgical strikes and Balakot. That’s the kind of decisive action that actually makes Pakistan think twice before messing with us. We need to keep this strong stance and never go back to that old, weak approach.

It’s about time we called out the UPA’s weak-kneed approach—Sharm-el-Sheikh was a huge embarrassment and only emboldened Pakistan. The current government’s strong response and zero-tolerance policy towards terrorism is what real leadership looks like!
